Lauren Pocaluyko

Lauren began dancing at the age of 6, she began competing at the age of 9, and continued competing until the age of 18. Lauren studied in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, and Acro, participating in a variety of competitions across the country, winning many awards. Lauren has been teaching dance for the past 6 years and has won choreography awards for her pieces. Lauren was a member of the 2011 Team Canada Dance Team, which competed at the World Dance Week, IDO World Championship in Mikolajki, Poland in December, 2011, where she and her teammates brought home Gold and Bronze medals. From 2014 – 2016, Lauren was a Toronto Argonauts Cheerleader where she had the opportunity to dance during the Much Music Video awards, as well as perform for a variety of artists such as OMI, Kira Isabella, Saukrates, Dallas Smith, Brett Kissel and The Road Hammers. Lauren is teacher that expects hard work and dedication from her students, and believes that there is always room for improvement. Lauren is excited to share her love and passion for dance with all of her students this upcoming season.
